You have displayed so much strength and grace throughout the most hard year of our lives. Kobe's wife Vanessa is asking the media to remember their memories in a respectful way.

"Vanessa stated her brothers have helped her defeat the" awakened bunch of feelings" she felt after the deaths of Kobe and Gianna. "Our sweet Natalia. ❤️#18", she wrote alongside one pic of the teen, while she captioned another photo, "I ❤️you @nataliabryant!". She told story after story of his romantic gestures and described how much he loved his children and how he and Vanessa would be fun grandparents to their daughters' children.

"Dear Natalia, Happy Birthday!"

'Thank you for stepping in to help me with your little sisters.

The proud mom went on to call Natalia an "incredible big sister" and "a handsome role model", adding, "Thank you for being kind, polite and gracious in everything that you do". Thank you for being kind, polite and gracious in everything that you do. "You have no idea how happy and proud mommy and daddy are that you're our daughter", the celebrity mom continued.

The tragic deaths of her husband and daughter are obviously still affecting Vanessa Bryant, and likely always will, but she's using her status in the world as a way to try and help others grieving over the loss of loved ones.

Natalia plans to attend college after finishing her high school career this year.

"Happy Birthday", Vanessa wrote to her daughter in an Instagram post. "Love always, Mommy, Daddy, Gigi, BB, and Koko".

"Grief is a messed up cluster of emotions", she wrote on her Instagram Stories Friday.

Vanessa then moved onto to talking about Kobe, whom she called her "soul mate". 'One day you're in the moment laughing and the next day you don't feel like being alive'. Find your reason to live. "I will do my best to keep her in Cali just like I kept her daddy here", Vanessa mused. "I know it's hard", Vanessa wrote. Death is ensured but living the remainder of your day is not.

They welcomed daughters Natalia in 2003, Gianna in 2006, Bianka in 2016 and Capri in 2019.

Kobe adored his family and in a previous post after he retired in 2016 he wrote: 'I'm so excited to see what God has in store for us as a family now that one chapter is closing and new ones are opening'. They were on their way to a basketball game when the helicopter crashed. While not a lengthy post, it was certainly a strong one that gives people a little insight into what she's been feeling this past year while also offering words of encouragement to those dealing with the same types of feelings.
