Acer Ventures Into TWS Earbuds Segment With Budget-Friendly Offering

One of them is under a new "Gateway" brand, and the other two come under their own Acer branding. These, as per Acer, are "designed to offer prolonged use" and come with a bunch of convenient features for the users to enjoy a wireless-listening experience, both at home and on-the-go.

Now, coming to the premium pair of earbuds first, the Gateway True Wireless earbuds are available a cool vinyl design, in a clear white shade scheme. Also, you can detach the case of the earbuds from the charging point as it is magnetically attached. The earbuds also come with controls to adjust volume, skip tracks, take voice calls, and activate Google Assistant or Siri.

The Gateway premium true wireless earbuds from Acer are enabled with the fast pairing feature with the help of which, it instantly connects with the user's phone, tablet or PC the moment when the case is opened. This makes the total battery life as 22 hours and it is two hours more than the 20 hours usage promised by OnePlus Buds Z. But compared to the OnePlus offering, Skullcandy has not defined if it has offered any fast charging support on the Jib True. The Skullcandy Jib comes with up to 22 hours of battery life and IPX4 sweat and water resistance.

The Gateway True Wireless earbuds (GAHR012) is priced at Rs 4,499, while the Acer True Wireless Audio earbuds (GAHR 010) and (GAHR 011) are priced at Rs 2,999.

The new Acer GAH010 and GAH011 earbuds feature a non-stem design that snugs into the ears.

Coming to the instances, each the pair is available in a unique-looking charging case with a translucent top-cover.

When it comes to battery life, the earbuds can last for up to six hours on one single charge and the bundled case offers additional usage of 16 hours. Except the charging case for the Acer True Wireless Stereo earbuds GAHR011 comes with battery indicator lights on the front while the case for the Acer True Wireless Stereo earbuds GAHR011 does not. You get Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity and USB Type-C charging. Acer says that the TWS can charge fully in 1.5hrs and has a standby time of 24hrs (with case). And the buds of each fashions have contact controls to invoke voice assistants and management media features.

Coming to the costs of those new Acer wi-fi earbuds, the corporate says that they're priced to be cheap for many customers.

The Gateway True Wireless Earbuds (GAHR012) are priced at Rs. 3,499 and come in a white colour option.

The Acer True Wireless (GAHR010) earbuds comes in "In the Ear" form.

Acer has unveiled a series of True Wireless earphones that are created to offer prolonged use with IPX4 water resistance and a host of convenience features for the user. Unlike the earlier Gateway earbuds that are available a stick kind issue, these earbuds are available an in-the-ear model.
