West Virginia transfer Oscar Tshiebwe commits to Kentucky

Jon Rothstein reports that Oscar Tshiebwe, a former five-star prospect, announced his commitment to the Kentucky Wildcats after deciding to transfer from West Virginia earlier this week. I spent a lot of time praying to God to help me make the best decision for my future.

Tshiebwe met virtually with coaches from North Carolina State, Illinois, and Miami before deciding on Kentucky. Tshiebwe announced on Twitter that he will continue his career as a Wildcat.

Tshiebwe announced he was leaving the Mountaineers for personal reasons on January 1.

Tshiebwe was in his second season with the Mountaineers. He was named to the Preseason All-Big 12 team entering this season, but struggled for most of the first half of the season.
