Several Raiders defenders placed on COVID-19 list

Defensive end Clelin Ferrell was placed on the COVID-19/reserve list Tuesday and is not expected to be available for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

"We'll be there on Sunday and we'll be prepared".

"What don't they have?" They have a great quarterback, great receivers, great tight ends, line is physical.

According to the Raiders COVID-19 list obtained by 41 Action News' Nick Jacobs, the players include DB Johnathan Abram, DT Maliek Collins, DT Johnathan Hankins, DB Isaiah Johnson, DE Arden Key and DT Kendal Vickers.

Raiders defensive end Clelin Ferrell tested positive, and presumably numerous Raiders' defensive starters have been in close contact with Ferrell.

"I know one thing, we're going to show up at 5:20 (PT) and we're going to give 100%, because that's what we do", Guenther added.

As close contacts, the seven players could be eligible to return and play the Chiefs, who are coming off their bye week, as long as they continue to test negative for the coronavirus this week. "We'll get these guys ready to play". Particularly given the matchup this week, however, it's still a tough situation for the Raiders to navigate.
