Netflix renewed Stranger Things for a fourth season in September 2019 when it also closed a major overall deal with the Duffer Brothers. According to Entertainment Weekly, his character is "Victor Creel, described as 'a disturbed and intimidating man who is imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital for a gruesome murder in the 1950s".

Stranger Things, which was created by The Duffer Brothers and is produced by Monkey Massacre Productions & 21 Laps Entertainment, is now underway on its fourth season.

Tom Wlaschiha (who Game of Thrones fans will recognize as Jaqen H'ghar) will play Dmitri, a smart and charming Russian prison guard who is perhaps not to be trusted.

In addition to Englund and Bower, Netflix revealed six additional new characters for season 4.

Dye is Jason Carver, a handsome and rich sports star who is dating the most popular girl in school. Among the new series regulars are Joseph Quinn (Catherine the Great) as Eddie Munson, an '80s metalhead who heads The Hellfire Club, Hawkins High's official Dungeons & Dragons club, who finds himself at the epicenter of this season's new mystery. But as a new evil threatens Hawkins, Jason's flawless world begins to unravel...

Othe recurring additions to the cast include Tom Wlaschiha as Dimitri, a Russian prison guard who befriends Hopper (David Harbour), Nikolaj Djuriko as Yuri, a seedy and unpredictable Russian smuggler who loves bad jokes and cold hard cash, Mason Dye as Jason Carver, a rich sports star whose flawless world begins to unravel in the face of a new evil, and Sherman Augustus as Lt. Colonel Sullivan, a no-nonsense man who believes he knows how to stop the evil invading Hawkins once and for all.

Genius' Nikola Djuricko also joins the show as Yuri, a Russian smuggler who figures into Hopper's time in Russia.
