These parts were also filmed while most of the nation was in quarantine, so we see Borat staying with a family and up to his shenanigans again.

Details of Borat 2 are slowly emerging.

Just when you thought 2020 was as insane as a year could be, Sacha Baron Cohen is back with the sequel to Borat.

Amazon released the first full trailer for the sequel on Thursday, showing Cohen crashing what appears to be CPAC 2020 in February to heckle Vice President Mike Pence while wearing a Trump mask and body suit.

Amazon has premiered the official trailer for Sacha Baron Cohen's comedy sequel, officially titled "Borat: Subsequent Moviefilm", which is set to land on the streaming site on October 23.

"Borat Subsequent Moviefilm" will premiere on Amazon Prime on October 23.

The original Borat film spun off of Cohen's Da Ali G Show and dispatched the fictional title character into US cities, often making fun of local culture and lampooning Bush-era American politics. It featured Baron Cohen, who is Jewish, as a nonsensical reporter from Kazakhstan who is anti-Semitic, misogynist, and generally offensive, while interacting with Americans who were unaware the character was a sham.

Apparently, the cultural learnings in Borat (2006) did not work.

Now, after months of filming undercover and remaining silent about the upcoming film, Cohen is ready to debut his first-ever theatrical sequel to the world just in time for the US Presidential Elections on November 3rd.

Much like the first movie, Borat will be going around and interacting with Americans.

Cohen originated the character of Borat Sagdiyev, a fictional Kazakh journalist, on his series Da Ali G Show.

Borat also introduces viewers to his daughter who accompanies him to the United States.
