Meghan Markle Said She Couldn't Use Her Voice As a Senior Royal

Following the spat, Meghan and Harry opted to not join the rest of the fam at the Queen's Balmoral estate.

She discussed the importance of using your voice for good, and reflected on being unable to speak out as a senior member of the royal family.

Prince Harry desires his child to have "the childhood he constantly wanted". "Sometimes they do solo dates", an insider told the magazine, "and sometimes with friends". "Regardless of my experience over the last few years compared to anyone's experience, you can't take for granted the ability you have as a woman to be able to be heard, and now with the platform that people have on social media to actually have that voice heard for a larger audience, I think it's a huge responsibility".

"She added: "'I have a lot of concerns for people that have become obsessed with it and it is so much a part of our daily culture for so many people that it is an addiction". On the other hand, statistician Edward Tufte says in Netflix's documentary: "There are only two industries that call their customers "users": illegal drugs and software".

"As you're out there building your brand, as you are out there engaging with friends online, just be conscious of what you're doing", she continued. "Understand that it is not limited to that one moment-that you are creating an echo chamber for yourself".

The online world has been a recurrent topic and project for the royal couple, with Meghan revealing earlier this week she was staying off social media after the trolling she experienced during 2019.

Markle added: "For my own self-preservation, I have not been on social media for a very long time".

Speaking to the BBC, Campbell said: "I started writing that book because previous year I knew privately that Meghan, with Harry's connivance, was getting up to all sorts of things in America that she was completely forbidden from doing as a royal".

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not flying back to the United Kingdom despite reports that the couple will be making the trip before the year ends, an insider revealed.
