First Apple Silicon MacBooks Could Launch on November 17

The development was shared by notable tipster Jon Prosser on Twitter, days after Apple launched its iPhone 12 smartphone line-up. According to Prosser, Apple will hold an event in November to announce new info regarding ARM-based Macs, with expected date for the event now penciled in for Nov. 17. Prosser is so sure of his sources that he has gone as far as to add that Apple will announce its ARM Mac event on November 10 - the preceding Tuesday. Notably, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo back in June indicated the arrival of a new 13.3-inch MacBook Pro and a completely redesigned iMac towards the end of this year or early next year.

Aside from new Macs, it's possible Apple's November event could shed light on Apple's AirTags, which many have been expecting to be announced sometime this year.

This is not the first time we're hearing about Apple's alleged plans to host a new event. Earlier this week, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg had reported that the first Mac laptop with Apple's own processor will launch in November along with "other products".
