Next in line, the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T had recently started receiving the OxygenOS 10.3.6 update that brought the September 2020 Android security patch to the phones along with some improvements and bug fixes.

OnePlus 8T will go on sale on October 17 via the official OnePlus website and offline stores, too. There's no telephoto zoom, but there is an ultra wide angle mode, and as you would expect OnePlus says the array will take pictures that are better than ever compared with other OnePlus handsets.

OnePlus has introduced a new high-end smartphone, the OnePlus 8T. This display comes with a 120Hz refresh rate. By contrast, OnePlus sells Gray Onyx and Blue Marble with either 12 GB/256 GB or 8 GB/128 GB. It also has a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a triple-camera setup on the back.

The main camera includes four modules: 48-megapixel main (Sony IMX586, f / 1.8, 0.8 microns, OIS), 16-megapixel wide-angle (f / 2.2, 117º), 5-megapixel for macro photography (f / 2.4) and 2-megapixel portrait (f / 2.4). This camera can record 1080p video at 30fps.

The 8T also features numerous specs that we would come to expect, bringing the Snapdragon 865 and up to 12GB of RAM, to go along with up to 256GB of RAM.

It has a vision to create smart devices that connect seamlessly with each other, whether that be phones, smart home products, smart TVs (which it has already launched) and now - probably - smartwatches. The phone has two batteries with a total capacity of 4,500 mAh. The special thing is that in OnePlus 8T, users will get 65W warp charging support and the phone will be fully charged in just 39 minutes.

OnePlus's own trading scheme offers up to £330/US$230 towards the 8T. The first 8GB + 128GB model can be purchased for Rs 42,999 and the second 12GB + 256GB variant has been launched for Rs 45,999. In comparison, three variants of OnePlus 8 are in the market.
