Here is everything OnePlus announced today: OnePlus 8T, Buds Z, and more

The Snapdragon 865 is the same chipset utilised on the OnePlus 8 and it teams up with a Snapdragon X55 5G Modem-RF System, which enables staggering multi-gigabit 5G connectivity, professional-quality photography at Gigapixel speeds, desktop-level gaming with ultra-realistic graphics, and intuitive AI experiences.

The OnePlus 8T features a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a screen refresh rate of 120Hz.

The display also is on top of one of the fastest, most reliable in-display fingerprint sensors available and is punctuated by a punch hole in the top left corner for the 16MP selfie camera (same as the OnePlus 8). There's a quad rear camera setup included, too, which features 48MP main, 16MP ultra wide, 5MP macro, and 2MP monochrome cams.

Let's do a quick specs recap for this OnePlus mid-ranger. The phone has two batteries with a total capacity of 4,500 mAh. It gives you 10 hours of playback on a 10-minute charge and will be available in two colors - Reverb Red and Bass Blue. The phone tags along 12 temperature sensors as well as an extra encryption chip in the adapter and cable, to keep charging temperatures at a comfortable level while operating at a peak output of 65W.

The OnePlus Buds Z have been priced at Rs. 3,190 - Rs. 1,800 less than the OnePlus Buds' Rs. 4,990 pricetag. There is also support for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1.

One way that we continue to see OnePlus combat the smartphone market is in the camera department. One is integration with Bitmoji avatars, while another, Canvas, can make an outline image from your photo gallery, and use it as a black-and-white wallpaper for your phone when it's on standby.

Bitmoji AOD is a partnership with Snapchat to "liven up your ambient display with your personal Bitmoji avatar".

Now, a lot of you must be wondering, what's so special about this new OnePlus Nord variant?

The stable OxygenOS 11 release is now rolling out to the OnePlus 8 series, and now we have a clearer understanding of when the Android 11-based update will be making its way to older OnePlus phones.

The layout has been readjusted according to the golden ratio, with the display being smartly divided to distinguish touch controls from the display area.

Your color choices are Aquamarine Green and Lunar Silver, and the phone comes with OxygenOS 11 (based on Android 11) out of the box.
