What features the U1 is destined to facilitate for Apple Watch remains unclear. Pre-orders today, shipping Friday. It will also periodically monitor oxygen levels in the background. Apple Watch SE features the same accelerometer, gyroscope, and always-on altimeter as Apple Watch Series 6, and with the latest motion sensors and microphone, it offers robust health and safety capabilities including fall detection, Emergency SOS, worldwide emergency calling, and the Noise app.

While Apple Watch SE lacks some of the hardware components needed for things like measuring the blood's oxygen saturation, it packs a dual-core S5 chip that makes it twice as fast as Apple Watch Series 3, fall detection, and a swim-proof design.

In addition, the new feature may make sense for parents who already have older Apple Watches that they can hand down to kids as they upgrade.

Apple has long touted the fitness features of its Apple Watch, but now it's going after at-home fitness enthusiasts with a new on-demand exercise service known as Fitness+.

Replacing the entry-level Apple Watch Series 3, which started at $199, with the SE model gives potential first-time buyers a more fully featured device from as little as $279.

The Series 6 has a dual-core processor based on Apple's A13 Bionic.

The newest iPad has a 10.2-inch Retina display looks the same but includes the A12 Bionic chip. Basically, Fitness+ is a fitness program that offers video workouts across a range of disciplines, in a neat, integrated and engaging way. There are 10 workout options to choose from, including yoga, cycling, strength, and rowing. It's machine-agnostic, meaning you don't need any particular equipment-aside from the Apple Watch.

We don't really focus too much on what's happening in Cupertino at Apple's spaceship campus, but the company held an event today, unwrapping some pretty interesting products. Each session includes a workout playlist you can import into Apple Music.

Fitness+ costs $9.99/month or $79.99/year with family plans available.

Apple One's bundled services are available in three different packages. With a $30 Premier subscription, you get Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News+, Apple Fitness+, and 2TB of iCloud storage, shareable with up to six family members.

Apple's Fitness app will also come to the iPad and Apple TV, complete with Fitness+. But there are lower-tier individual and family plans with fewer services.

The new iPad starts at $329 for the Wi-Fi model and $459 for a Wi-Fi + Cellular version.

The iPad Air series is designed as a middle ground between the iPad Pro line and the standard iPad.

The new iPad lineup included a redesigned version of the Air, which borrows features from the more expensive iPad Pro. It's available in five colors, including pastel-shaded pink, blue, and green.
