The Galaxy M31s will be made available in two memory variants. Samsung is also offering a higher-end model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage at Rs. 21,499. Today, though, we're getting our first good look at supposed renders of Samsung's next foldable device, and my first reaction is that I want it so, so badly.

To start with the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy M31s is loaded with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, 110 per cent NTSC, 91 per cent screen-to-body ratio, 20:9 aspect ratio. It comes with Widevine L1 certification.

Galaxy M31s will run Android 10 out of the box with Samsung's new One UI for a smooth, lag-free experience.

The phone is loaded with a 6000mAh battery and it comes with 25W fast charging support that the company claims can charge the device fully in 97 minutes. The smartphone will also support reverse charging. However, it isn't clear if these improvements are exclusively for the Exynos-powered variants of the Galaxy S10 series phones.

The device comes with side finger print scanner and fast face-unlock feature. At the back, there is a quad-camera setup that allows for the capture of super slow-motion video at 480fps as well as video in 4K. The triple rear camera setup will feature a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front lies a 32MP selfie shooter. With Galaxy M31s, we are aiming to redefine camera experience for young consumers. "We are confident that Galaxy M31s, with its 64MP Intelli-Cam and Single take feature, will truly set the benchmark for camera performance in the mid segment", Asim Warsi, Senior Vice President, Samsung India, said.
