Martha Stewart Reveals She Received 14 Proposals After Her Sultry Pool Selfie

They say the way to someone's heart is through their stomach, but for culinary icon Martha Stewart, it seems one pool selfie was enough to do the job.

"My camera came on backwards, you know, selfie mode, and I looked so nice", she said. I haven't checked lately, that was the first day'.

Last week Stewart, 78, posted a sun-kissed image of herself relaxing by her pool, sharing the recipe for her "Pomegranate Martha-ritas".

And while Martha had time to take this selfie, she revealed that's she has been incredibly busy throughout quarantine.

To be fair, in an interview Entertainment Tonight, host Nischelle Turner had to explain to Martha what a "thirst trap was", i.e. a photo where you look cute but typically has an unrelated caption to show you're not trying too hard. I have one major craft project...and I have not been able to finish it because we've been doing a brand-new show for HGTV.

Just another reminder that this is Martha's Stewart's universe and we are all merely living in it!

She then teased that the show is 'very informative, ' 'very cute, ' and also 'very amusing, ' which is not surprising in the slightest when taking into consideration the woman's past projects.

Stewart said she shared the photo because she "just thought [she] looked great coming out of the pool". "Wait, is this a thirst trap?" a second follower reacted, while another remarked, "Martha is here for a hot girl summer".

The photo has been liked more than 200,000 times, with Blake Lively and Reese Witherspoon among celebrities showing approval for it.
