Conor McGregor Disputes Dana White’s Understanding Of ‘I Accept’ Post

"I can smash all these guys".

Conor McGregor has remained coy on what he meant by his cryptic tweet earlier this week but he insists Dana White was incorrect with his understanding of its meaning.

The Irishman then tweeted "tinatanggap ko", which is Tagalog - the second language for the majority of people from the Philippines - for "I accept".

"The Notorious" was supposed to fight three times in the UFC this year, but his first-round TKO win over Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone in January remains the only Octagon appearance of his self-declared season so far.

Conor McGregor's message was written in Filipino stating once again "I accept".

Ever since he beat Phillips and McKee, Chimaev has been all over social media calling out numerous fighters, including Conor McGregor.

UFC president Dana White reacted to the social media exchange by playing down the clash.

In a previous interview with TMZ Sports, Chimaev spoke about what he would do to McGregor if they end up fighting. You know he wants the Khabib fight.

This comes just a day after he tweeted the english version of the phrase, which many believed to be directed at surging UFC welterweight Khazmat Chimaev.

However, he was stopped and detained by police at the airport before being shipped back to Sweden.

Chimaev, who exploded on to the global MMA scene with his pair of dominant performances on Yas Island last month, revealed that he once flew to Ireland to confront McGregor after the Irishman's comments on Khabib Nurmagomedov and Zubaira Tukhugov.
