More COVID-19 Cases Reported in Marshall, Pulaski Counties

Thirty-two new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Spokane County on Saturday, raising the total confirmed case count to 1,199. The positive cases represent about 5% of the more than 54,000 tests administered in the county, officials said.

Through tracing people who have been in contact with COVID-19 positive patients, SRHD has discovered more positive cases.

Officials also reported only six communities outbreaks were identified in the past week which falls beneath the county's community outbreak trigger of seven in seven days.

The EOC said in the release, "As travel and tourism increases throughout the summer, the potential for community spread greatly increases".

The current Johnson County COVID-19 Numbers are One active case; 16 lab confirmed cases; four probable cases; 18 recovered; and one death. As of Friday, there have been close to 3,000 test results returned in Lewis County with a 2.2 percent positive rate.
