Dying Light 'Hellraid' DLC launches next month

Wait, what? Hellraid, an unreleased Techland game about slicing and dicing skeletons, is going to see the light of day in Dying Light, the studio's unstoppable, still-hanging-in-there zombie title from 2015.

Granted, asking what Dying Light would be like without the experience of parkouring around rooftops and shantytowns is like attempting to play Counter-Strike without using flashbangs or smokes (so every matchmaking game), but the Hellraid DLC looks pretty fantastic.

Yet it lives on as DLC for Dying Light, a game that was actually released and continues to be excellent six years later. Get ready for an entirely new game mode based on our currently-on-hold first-person dark fantasy slasher Hellraid. So, it sounds like Techland still has plans for this series in the future and I can only hope that Nolan North is still a part of the project! For more details on Dying Light and all things gaming check back here at Cinelinx! Stepping through the portal will take you to. Slay brand-new demonic enemies with medieval swords, axes, and hammers as you venture through stone corridors and dimly lit chambers. Each run through the dungeon will reward you with coins that you can spend to proudly wield Hellraid weapons in Harran. The expansion, which sends players through demon-infested fortress dungeons in search of bounties to collect, can be pre-purchased on Steam now for $9.99 / £7.99. Whether you choose to test your skills alone or in co-op (up to 4 people), you'll face a considerable challenge.
