Manchester United leading the pack for Jadon Sancho

Manchester United are confident of signing Liverpool target Jadon Sancho after holding contract talks with the player's agent, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano via the Metro.

With potential doubts surrounding the Reds' move for Timo Werner, due to the current virus affecting the world, it could be that the club turn their attention to Sancho.

The Daily Mirror claim that Dortmund are unsure about their transfer strategy in the off-season which should give Manchester United an advantage in the race to sign Bellingham.

Earlier today United star Marcus Rashford wished his England worldwide pal a happy birthday.

Sancho so far this season has 17 goals and 19 assists to his name across all competitions so the interest in him is justifiable.

Sancho is said to be keen on a return to England and testing himself in the Premier League, after quitting Manchester City when he was just 17.

Chelsea have also been strongly linked with the England global with the Evening Standard reporting recently that the Blues are ready to meet Dortmund's £120m valuation to sign Sancho this summer.

United are lacking a top quality winger in the squad and Sancho is regarded as one of the best in Europe, who is still years away from reaching his peak.
