Police Arrest Man After Licking Products at Walmart

A Warrenton man was charged with making a terrorist threat after he filmed himself licking bunch of items at Walmart.

KMOV reports the video showed a man licking several toiletries at the Walmart in Warrenton after saying, "Who's scared of the coronavirus? Don't touch your mouth?" The page wrote on Twitter that the video was sent to them on Facebook by one of their followers.

26-year-old Cody Pfister was reportedly arrested after his video went viral.

After the video was posted, many disgusted people responded to the video calling for the man to be identified and "locked up".

The video spread around the world, and Warrenton police said in a statement the department had been contacted by people in the Netherlands, Ireland and the United Kingdom.

This particular video, which won't be shared here, has gained some global attention and we have received numerous reports about the video from locals, nearby residents, as well as people from the Netherlands, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.

Charges are pending before the Warren County Attorney's office, but police have not identified the man or the charges he faces.

The Riverfront Times reports: "The video appears to have been filmed on March 11 at the Warrenton store, according to court records". The charge is a low-level felony.

Police said that he had had prior convictions for burglary, being caught with burglary tools, theft of a firearm, and driving while under the influence and was already known to the police department.

"Knock this guy out", said one response, while another suggested that the man be charged with attempted murder if he was "infected" with COVID-19.

Per John Hopkins University, the United States now has 55,225 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus and a death toll of 802.
