Biden says he’s 'had enough debates’ with Sanders

In this image from video provided by the Biden for President campaign, Democratic presidential candidate former Vice President Joe Biden speaks during a virtual press briefing Wednesday, March 25, 2020.

"My focus is just dealing with this crisis right now". "Do you think there should be another debate in April, and would you participate?"

Former Vice President Joe Biden has said he's had enough debates with Sen. When Wallace encouraged him to finish his thought, he responded with "Probably best I don't". He has said he's focused on addressing the coronavirus pandemic. His remarks support reporting that he doesn't intend to drop out of White House contention any time soon, ramping up grassroots organizing efforts in NY ahead of the state's primary on April 28.

Although Sanders won the Democrats Abroad primary this week, Biden has 1,174 pledged delegates to the senator's 862. His inactivity during the outbreak, after becoming the presumptive Democratic nominee earlier this month, led to such hashtags as #WhereIsJoe, pointing out his incapability of leading the country during such an ordeal were he to become president.
