Did Apple's own website reveal four new iPad Pro models are coming?

These include the introduction of an all-new eight-core GPU A12Z Bionic chip with Neural Engine, and Embedded M12 coprocessor, which Apple claims make the tablet faster and more powerful than most Windows PC laptops.

Apple today also introduced the new Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro. "Combining the most advanced mobile display with powerful performance, pro cameras, pro audio, the breakthrough LiDAR Scanner and new Magic Keyboard with Trackpad, this is another huge leap forward for iPad". This fits nicely with existing rumors of a iPad Pro refresh coming in the first half of 2020. Apple says the battery lasts up to 10 hours, the Wi-Fi connectivity is faster than ever, and the gigabit-class LTE is 60% faster than before. The 11-inch iPad Pro with 256GB of storage costs $799. At a glance, the camera module on the back of the all-new iPad Pro looks almost identical to those of the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro.

The latest iPad Pro also offers a 10MP Ulta Wide camera and studio-quality mics. The tablet also now features five studio-quality microphones and four speakers that adjust to any orientation.

But there's a fascinating addition to that imaging setup: an LiDAR sensor. Apple said this means that ARKit apps on the new iPad Pro will get improved motion capture and people occlusion, leading to AR experiences "never before possible". Apple says it's truly optimized for the iPad, with a circle that highlights interface elements, easy text selection and gestures that help you switch apps, bring up the dock and otherwise perform tasks that normally require poking at the screen. Apple also announced a new Magic Keyboard that attaches magnetically to the iPad Pro and has adjustments of the viewing angle up to 130 degrees. "There's no other device in the world like the new iPad Pro and we think our customers are going to love it".

Both the second-generation 11-inch iPad Pro and fourth-generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro come with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage. There's a USB-C port, which recharges both the keyboard and the iPad attached to it.
