Bears to play Jaguars in Jacksonville in 2020

The Jacksonville Jaguars will become the first National Football League team to play two games in a season outside the United States by appearing twice in London in 2020.

The Jaguars have played one home game in London every year since 2013 and will become the first National Football League team to host two home contests outside the United States in the same season. This move demonstrates a major step forward in the franchise's ongoing commitment to the United Kingdom fanbase.

The NFL regular-season schedule with dates and times is typically released in April.

"However, playing two games in London at Wembley Stadium, where we have outstanding relationships, at least next season and perhaps in future years during construction, will help us bridge the gap between now and when we expect the Lot J development to open".

Detroit, as it happens, plays at Jacksonville next season.

"This isn't about next season or the next few seasons in Jacksonville, but really about the next 10 years, 25 years and beyond", Khan said.

Jacksonville has played one contest per season in London since 2013 and is 3-4 in those games.

The Jaguars have also announced they will play the Bears and Steelers in Jacksonville, which means there are only six possible opponents for the two London games.
