Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks With Draft Stakes Set For WWE RAW

WWE has announced actual rules - and actual celebrities - in advance of its two upcoming draft shows, Smackdown on FOX on Friday, and Monday Night Raw on USA Network.

SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley showed off her new look on this week's show, which featured night one of the two-night WWE Draft. Monday's Raw is in Denver at the Pepsi Center.

The first match for Monday's episode of WWE Raw has been announced and it's a big one.

WWE official reportedly consulted with both FOX and US to make sure each side was happy with the Superstars that they ended up with, according to PWInsider.

For months now FOX and WWE have been hyping up SmackDown's move to Friday nights on FOX and last week the show finally joined the network.

Any undrafted Superstars will immediately be declared free agents and able to sign with the brand of their choosing.

"It was never going to be NXT".

Executives from both networks were involved with the Draft, but WWE obviously made the final decisions on picks. It's going to be a rep or reps from US and a rep or reps from Fox that will be doing the picking as opposed to authority figures from WWE.

Additionally, there are no plans right now for either brand to have general managers or other authority figures, as WWE doesn't want those for the time being. "This could change but the whole draft is already done. I have no idea what it is and nobody is going to know until the day of, they're not going to tell the talent".

Weirdly, Raw was given three picks for every two from SmackDown as well (something to do with it being there hours long, as if that should matter), and that meant the red brand dominated the first 20 by 13-7.
