Avengers: Damage Control Brings Back Ultron in VR

Marvel Studios along with ILMxLAB (Lucasfilm's immersive entertainment studio) has just made an exciting announcement!

Marvel had teased earlier this month their collaboration with ILMxLAB, Avengers: Damage Control, and now we have a story trailer bringing back old villain Ultron. Avengers: Damage control, in collaboration with ILMxLAB, is a VR story coming to select The Void VR locations in the US and Canada.

The premise involves Wakandan prodigy Shuri (Letitia Wright) recruiting a team to test out prototype Emergency Response Suits which combine the best of Wakanda and Stark technology.

Players must fly and use their newly acquired powers to team up with the Avengers, defeat Ultron, and save the day. Now, after more than a decade of unbelievable support, we are excited to give fans the same opportunity: to be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But there's gonna be plenty of strings connecting your VR headset and backpack up in order to actually play Avengers: Damage Control.

"Shuri has recruited your team to test a powerful new prototype design combining Wakandan and Stark technologies", a preview of the VR experience said.

The flawless opportunity to really become a superhero as a new Shuri recruit and team up with some of the Marvel superheroes that we have seen on the big screen to stop a new threat, or rather, an old acquaintance, the villain Ultron.

This includes the likes of Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, The Wasp, The Hulk, and making his return to the MCU, Spider-Man.

The new footage shows off more of Marvel's latest attempt to immerse fans in a larger-than-life VR adventure, while also teasing numerous characters you'll encounter while battling the forces of evil.

"Avengers: "Damage Control will allow fans the opportunity to, "...fight side by side with Avengers like Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), the Wasp (Evangeline Lilly), and more".

Avengers: Damage Control will be available at The VOID locations for a limited time beginning October 18.
