Atlanta Falcons: 3 Bold predictions vs. Cardinals, Week 6

Arizona Cardinals running back David Johnson (back) said he felt good in his return to practice on Friday, but he will be a game-time decision for Week 6 against the Falcons. Featuring two of the NFL's worst four defenses, these two teams have just two wins between them and looking at how many points they are allowing, it's no surprise.

Meanwhile, Arizona gave up the first points against Cincinnati, but they didn't let that get them down. The answer is yes. Atlanta's loss came about despite a quality game from QB Matt Ryan, who passed for 330 yards and three TDs on 46 attempts. But that 51.5 total is a bit steep for just about any National Football League matchup, and it is hard to depend on that many points against these two defenses when Julio Jones and David Johnson are both listed as questionable.

The Atlanta Falcons will be without starting cornerback Desmond Trufant and punter Matt Wile for Sunday's game at Arizona. If Atlanta is down its No. 1 cornerback, it likely will rely on one of the two rookies to step in his place.

At 1-4 overall going into the showdown against the Cardinals, the Falcons are sitting at the bottom of the NFC South division behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-3 overall), Carolina Panthers (3-2) and New Orleans Saints (4-1) ahead of them in the division standings.
