What's Mobile World Congress and what to expect from it

Barcelona's Mobile World Congress (MWC), taking place between 26 February and 1 March, will see some of the world's leading technological innovators and manufacturers convene to reveal their latest products and mobile solutions. Let's check out the top five smartphones coming at the Mobile World Congress (MWC), and unsurprisingly it includes the Galaxy S9 and Nokia 9.

It shows a EUR849 price tag for the Galaxy S9 and a EUR1000 price tag for the Galaxy S9+. With Nokia's nostalgia factor, HMD is trying to get the iconic Nokia name back in the game, after releasing the Android-run Nokia 8 flagship previous year. However, the Galaxy S9 pricing has been the talk of the town, this time around, as several reports reveal different strategies.

The new Nokia 7 plus smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 660 processor, which is as of now a China exclusive processor.

Nokia 7 Plus will be the first Android One smartphone from the Finnish company.

The real photos were shared on Facebook by Cườngmobile a Vietnamese mobile phone shop and show the standard Samsung Galaxy S9. The company has apparently chose to implement new brand names for its flagships this year in an attempt to attract more consumers. The phone comes with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.

Sony Xperia XZ2: Not much is known about the Sony Xperia XZ2 but it is expected to be a phone that brings Sony back in the game.

Work smartphone will be running Android operating system 8.0 Oreo.

The Galaxy S9 will be very similar to its predecessor on the outside (see the images above, courtesy of this Instagram leak), with similar sizes, aspect ratio, and svelte profile expected on both the S9 and S9+. Removing the need for a bottom bezel allows them to increase screen real estate and eliminating the home button leaves fewer opportunities for the phone to wear down over time.

The fingerprint scanner is dreadfully misplaced-be prepared to smudge your camera trying to activate it.

ASUS is rumored to be launching the ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5 Lite. After all, Apple just made its entry-level iPhone $800, and it's Samsung's chief competitor. A new leak has surfaced online that reaffirms the suspicion that Samsung is looking to introduce a steep price hike with the Galaxy S9 series. The company's press conference is on Sunday at 4 p.m. CET, 3 p.m. GMT, and 10 a.m. ET.
