Rainbow Six Siege Is Getting Another Free Weekend

Ubisoft's Rainbow Six Siege, the excellent team-based tactical shooter, will be free to play next weekend as part of a limited-time event.

Ubisoft aren't the only publisher to offer free weekends, but they're definitely one of the most prolific. You get a decent while to determine if you do.

Next weekend, starting on Thursday, February 15 and running through February 20 Rainbow Six Siege will be free to play through Ubisoft's Uplay. It kicks off on February 15th, 2018, and runs right the way through to February 20th.

The leading piece of content from year three, season one, Operation Chimera, will be available first on PC through the technical test server starting February 19 and will launch later on all platforms on March 6.

Those who decide to jump in during this free period will find that any progress made will transfer over to the full game if you choose to purchase the full game afterwards - except for the Starter Edition of the game.

Excitement is at an all-time high as Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege gears towards its first co-op event - the highly anticipated Outbreak event. Following the technical test on PC, Outbreak will be accessible on all platforms from March 6 to April 3.
