The pair initially pleaded not guilty to all charges but it looks like they may have had a change of heart.

In the letter filed to the court on Wednesday, Sorrentino's attorneys said he and his brother, Marc, plan to plead guilty on Friday in Newark.

It is unclear as to which charge Sorrentino is pleading guilty.

He faces up to five years in prison on his charges, but the U.S. Attorney's Office has filed documents informing the judge both Mike and his brother, Marc, have reached plea agreement deals.

In April previous year, additional charges were filed against the Sorrentinos.

A trial had been scheduled for next month.

One of the stars of the "Jersey Shore" reality TV show has pleaded guilty to cheating on his taxes. The court granted him approval for the trip.

Sorrentino appeared on all six seasons of MTV's "Jersey Shore", a reality series that followed a group of rowdy housemates in New Jersey. They were known for their drunken antics and the phrase they used to describe their lifestyle: "gym, tan, laundry".

Mike and his brother were accused in 2014 after they failed to pay taxes on $8.9 million-worth of income between the years 2010 and 2012.

Republican ex-Gov. Chris Christie criticized the show for promoting stereotypes. "The brothers allegedly also claimed costly clothes and cars as business expenses and funneled company money into personal accounts".

Michael Sorrentino on Friday pleaded guilty to one count of tax evasion for deliberately concealing some of his income in 2011 by making cash deposits in amounts of less than $10,000 so they wouldn't trigger federal reporting requirements.
