Jets WR Robby Anderson arrested for second time in eight months

Anderson, 24, was also arrested previous year after an altercation at a concert in Miami.

Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson on Friday was arrested in South Florida for the second time in less than a year. These include harm to a public servant/family, reckless driving, eluding police, and resisting arrest.

The SUV traveled at 105 miles per hour in a 45 miles per hour zone for about three-quarters of a mile, the arrest report said.

The Broward County Sheriff's Office posted the National Football League player's booking sheet and confirmed the news to Daniel Popper of the New York Daily News.

Anderson led the Jets with 941 receiving yards last season. The Jets acknowledged the arrest, but failed to publicly discipline Anderson.

Anderson's arrest further adds on to the pile of misconduct that Jets' players have been apart of. "We are aware of the situation", a Jets spokesman told the NY Daily News. Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reported last month the trial date for that case was pushed back from December 26 to March 19. In the meantime, what do you think about Robby being arrested, and him allegedly threatening a cop's wife? As the officer was placing Anderson into the back of a patrol auto, he tensed up and refused to get in at first, police said.

"He continued [to] make other verbal threats towards my family", Hennessy wrote in the report.

He was previously arrested in May while attending a music festival in Miami and faces a felony charge of resisting arrest.
