Free Guy trailer starring Ryan Reynolds receives appreciation from fans

The movie stars Ryan Reynolds as the leader of a team of six individuals from all around the globe, each the very best at what they do. However, recently, he has expressed himself that he is ready to get himself out of the franchise as he changes his favorite movie.

Ryan Reynolds was nearly crushed after a barricade collapsed at Comic-Con Experience in Brazil.

And if the sheer number of explosions in the trailer alone is anything to go by, it's no surprise why; the film is peak Michael Bay (you know, the guy who made all 17 Transformers movies*). It's like one big inside joke for gamers, and with the reliably entertaining Reynolds leading the cast, Free Guy has potential. We can not forget how he made Deadpool and turned it into such a popular franchise as the world knows it today.

On Saturday, December 7, twentieth Century Fox released the principal trailer for Free Guy the up and coming experience satire motion picture featuring Ryan Reynolds as the main character, a no nonsense, do-what-he's-told bank employee who bears endless repulsions each waking snapshot of his life.

The movie Free Guy is an action-comedy. He then decides to be in charge of his life in a Fortnite meets Grand Theft Auto kind of game. He makes heroic action to stop the game's developer from pulling the plug. While the experience seems painful, Reynolds has had first-hand experience of being run over by a vehicle. He took lots of inspiration from different sources such as Will Ferrell's iconic Buddy the Elf and Petet Seller's performance in Being There.

Reynolds is also credited as producer on the flick, while Shawn Levy steps into the director role. Hard to believe? Well, trust the news for it comes from the horse's mouth.

Free Guy also stars Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, Taika Waititi, Channing Tatum, and Lil Rey Howery.

The movie is targeting a worldwide release the week of July 3, 2020.
