Titans’ Derrick Henry uses his strength for big TD vs. Colts

"We have to keep coming and keep understanding the impact he can have throughout the rest of the game, and he certainly did". This team isn't good enough to make up for the margin of error that Luck afforded them.

The Colts dropped their second straight game and fourth in the past five when they gave up 24 unanswered points in their 31-17 loss to the Tennessee Titans.

Adam Vinatieri missed three field goals for Indy (6-6), with two being blocked including the decisive kick that Dane Cruikshank got his hand on.

The Titans now have four games left in the season.

"We just have to make the most of our opportunities", Byard said talking about his interception. He rolled the dice and went for it, and got the jolt he was looking for when Derrick Henry broke free off the end of the line for a 13-yard touchdown. They had a season-high six sacks and forced two takaways, both fumbles. Jacoby Brissett can hardly say the same. Including Tennessee's field goal return for a touchdown, 17 of the Titans' 31 points came off of turnovers. He may not have any weapons to throw to, but those mistakes can't be made. Defensive tackle Grover Stewart continues to see an uptick in snaps while cornerback Marvell Tell was used only on special teams with the entire cornerback room healthy. Two of his field goals were blocked, and Vinatieri missed his first try of the day from 55 yards. The entire unit needs to be fixed in the offseason.

The loss sends the Colts to.500 for the first time since Week 4. Get all the news you need in your inbox each morning.

The quarterback took a much different route to disappointment than he did against Houston a week ago, but he eventually got there on Sunday. But now fans can stop having any disillusions of this team making the playoffs.

It's been an ugly season. It's just not good enough for that.
