Buccaneers guard Alex Cappa played Sunday with broken arm

Among the players in the Buccaneers passing offense that didn't get on track in last Sunday's 31-24 loss to the Saints was tight end O.J.

"He came in with a calf and battled it all game long", said Bruce Arians after the game on the Buccaneers Radio Network.

"I had to draw that energy through the universe and then dish it out", Davis told John Hendrix of SB Nation after the game.

According to the Pewter Report, Cappa told reporters after the game that the injury was "just a bruise".

Cappa is entering his second season with Tampa Bay.

If the first month of this season showed the potential for an improved Bucs defense, with Shaq Barrett leading the National Football League in sacks and Tampa Bay second with nine takeaways, then Sunday's game against the Saints made you question just how far they'd come from a historically bad defense previous year.

A Buccaneer since 2009, Dotson left today's game injured and it seems like it will cost him at least one game. Arians added that starting right tackle Demar Dotson will miss Week 6's game against the Carolina Panthers in London with a hamstring injury.

Earl Watford is expected to start in Cappa's place, and Josh Wells is set to step in at right tackle.

"We can't make excuses, but we'll have a new right side of our line, probably", Arians said.
