Like night turns to day, it seemed inevitable that Jacks Black and White would eventually collaborate on the music project of our dreams.

Jack Black has shared a video which sees him get one step closer to making his collaboration with Jack White.

In a video title "Jack Gray" - get it? - posted to the band's YouTube account, Black heads over to White's Third Man Records headquarters to hang out. Me and Gass have been working on a jam-it's not quite done, but I think that's where Jack White comes in and helps us pull it over the finish line.

At the end of the 17-minute-video, Jack Black and Kyle Gass head back into their vehicle, where they reveal they are headed to Jack Black's home studio to record their single. The anachronistic legend himself even chimes in on the duo: "I didn't realize, but they're actually not very nice guys", White says of Tenacious D.

But wait, there's more: Black is set to take over the extremely intimate Largo at the Coronet in Los Angeles to present "The Jack Black Experience". Black also notes that the recording session with Tenacious D and White was quick and straight-to-tape. "I'm still floating on cloud nine". Now, Black and his Tenacious D bandmate Kyle Gass have released a new vlog documenting their meet up with White, as effect of Sound points out.
