A beer a day keeps Andre Drummond in the National Basketball Association

That last part may not be the most important part of his summer routine but it's arguably the most intriguing.

The former All-Star said he recently eliminated red meats from his diet, which now consists mainly of fish and vegetables.

But he's not drinking for fun. The low calorie intake of this diet wasn't cutting it for the 25 year-old center, but he believes beer might just do the trick to keep his calories up.

As for his drink of choice, Miller Lite is reportedly the basketball star's preferred option, with Corona holding down the next spot on the depth chart.

That said, Drummond is 6-foot-11 with a wide frame.

Time will tell how the beer-a-day diet affects Drummond's performance.

Listed at 6-foot-11 and 280 pounds, Drummond is the third-heaviest National Basketball Association player behind Zion Williamson and Boban Marjanovich.

Last season, Drummond averaged 17.3 points, 15.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.7 blocks while shooting 53.3 percent from the field, 13.2 percent from the 3-point line and 59.0 percent from the charity stripe.

It would seem that the willingness to stop after one is what really separates the pros from the rest of us.
