Jessica Jones, the Third Season Has a Release Period on Netflix

Earlier this year, Netflix completed its Marvel purge by canceling Jessica Jones and The Punisher. The series is fully based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Jessica Jones is simply not a priority for Netflix. The series is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios and Tall Girls Productions, with Rosenberg serving as showrunner. While it's a shame their run is coming to an end, at least it's closing with Jessica Jones, a hero whose character arch has had the most dramatic impact.

Are you excited for Season 3 of Jessica Jones? Netflix released 88 per cent more original programming in 2018 compared to the previous year.

Check out everything coming to Netflix in June 2019 below. Jessica Jones Season 3 is now set to air in June.

In their monthly update of new releases, the streaming service announced that the third season will debut in June, with an official date to be determined.

Season two was ended with the rising tensions in the middle of Jones and her sister Trish Walker, who murdered Jones' mother in the season finale (a crime which Jones took the fall for).

The streaming platform has therefore revealed the release period of the last episodes of Jessica Jones, which will land on the network together with Spider-Man: A New Univers and several films starring Christian Bale, including Equilibrium, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. But now, Netflix has finally given an indication about when the final season of Jessica Jones will arrive.

Again, nothing is really known on how this season will play out, but Jones' is by far my favorite character in the Defenders and I can't wait to see how it wraps up.
