Pokemon GO's Bagon Community Day kicks off today

Have fun on Bagon Community Day!

The next Pokemon Go event takes place at the delayed time of 3pm on April 13.

The April Community Day event will be followed by next week's Easter Eggstravaganza celebration. While the duration period is always the same, the particulars of each Community Day-such as what time it starts and what other bonuses you'll be able to earn-typically vary month by month, so we've rounded up all the important details you need to know about this month's event below. The badge is one of the hardest catching badges to achieve, so a Dragon-type Community Day shouldn't be overlooked. Throughout the Community Day, the featured Pokemon will spawn more frequently in the wild than it normally does, making it a good opportunity to stock up on them.

This move will be available only to Salamence evolved during Community Day.

Bagon will take centre stage during the event, which is great news if you don't have Shelgon or Salamence.

Besides, anyone who evolves Shelgon during this event or within one hour of the event ends will obtain a Salamence and will also unlock the exclusive Outrage move.

The event kicks off at 9pm United Kingdom time on April 16 and runs until the same time on April 23. Once the trade has been completed, however, your friendship status will revert to Best Friends, although Niantic says you will have a chance to become Lucky Friends again the following day through the same methods. It ends a few hours later on 6pm local time.

The basic idea of Community Day is pretty simple: Go out and catch a ton of pokemon for three hours, but this time around things are different. But to get all these perks you need to be quick as this event will only last for three hours.

Meanwhile, prepare yourself for the Pokemon Go Community Days and give your best to catch the Shiny Bagon.
