What the KJo-Shah Rukh Khan Twitter episode teaches us about trolls

One of the twitter user and an SRK fans tweeted as, "When SRK and Salman rivalry was at the peak in 2011-2013 both of them never spoke bad thing about each other".

"Please bear with me and I apologize for any inconvenience".

Bollywood film-maker Karan Johar faces the wrath of Shah Rukh Khan's fans for mistakenly liking a tweet on Kesari and that had abuses against their favourite star SRK. Although Karan later unliked the tweet, it was too late. Shah Rukh has since responded to the incident. "Sorting it out asap", KJo clarified on social media.

Yet, Karan faced the ire of Shah Rukh supporters on Twitter on Friday after some eagle-eyed Bollywood fans noticed that the filmmaker had liked an abusive tweet targeting King Khan. Although, ahem, there was a lot begging to be read between the lines of his "clarification". "Just remove SRK's movies from cobra productions filmography and see where it actually stands", wrote another. "Go easy all, Make Lov not War...it's more fun", tweeted SRK.

However, Karan claimed that he is facing technical glitch and he has not purposely done anything to disrespect his friend and brother Shah Rukh.

Now, it is not that KJo doesn't deserve the agency to "like" any tweet he feels like - as a producer of Kesari, he ought to be jumping like a jack-in-the-box, looking at the opening numbers.

What one man wrote in favour of Akshay Kumar was derogatory towards Shah Rukh.

As soon as the netizens noticed Johar's like on the tweet, they started backlashing the film-maker, leading to a hashtag trending on Twitter, #ShameOnKaranJohar.
