Opera browser adds VPN

It is a well-known fact that the folks at Opera highly regards virtual private network (VPN) as an essential tool for web users as the company has implemented free VPN into its web browser for PC a few years ago.

According to Opera, there's no need to download a separate app to get the VPN up and running - it's built into the browser itself.

We usually ask you not to opt for free VPN's, especially on your Android device. You can choose a VPN server region or let the app decide, and you don't have to leave the VPN on all the time. Not only that, but Opera has also added an Optimal Location option for users who don't want a specific location and are more concerned about the speed.

If you one of the many users that been missing the free mobile VPN app from Opera, here's good news for you: it is going to make a return soon. Just like that version, the mobile browser also offers you to bypass VPN when accessing search engines. Opera didn't say how fast the VPN connections would be or what type of encryption the VPN uses.

Still, it's hard to ignore a free VPN with unlimited use. As we mentioned, the free VPN in Opera browser beta is being rolled out in a phased manner and not all users can now access the VPN tool in the app.
