Baldur's Gate Games, Neverwinter, Planescape: Torment Coming to Console in 2019

While there is no timeframe on when each game should be available on consoles, Beamdog will be working on bringing them to Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch over the course of the year. Six of Beamdog's fan-favorite games will be released on console platforms for the first time ever via Skybound all as Enhanced Editions sold at retail stores and online (www.Skybound.com).

If you would like the chance to check these games out in person, the Skybound Games booth at PAX East in Boston - taking place from 28th to 31st March, will be displaying a number of them to coincide with its first anniversary. Are you a fan of these old school D&D-based titles?

Something to look forward to: Baldur's Gate was largely credited with reviving the role-playing genre on the PC and inspiring a whole new wave of Dungeons & Dragons games.

"We're excited to bring Beamdog's incredible slate to new platforms for both the dedicated fan and those who will soon discover these adventures for the first time". All of the games are set in the Forgotten Realms of the Dungeons and Dragons universe, and the Enhanced Editions will include all of the expansion packs. Icewind Dale and Planescape: Torment. will arrive on a new platform this year. All were published underneath Interplay Entertainment and are collectively known as the best RPGs of all time. We are at any rate, even though we've played most on PC already. They are all available on PC now and will soon be coming to console, presumably with very different control schemes for the controllers.
