The Division 2 private beta start and end times

In fact, the private beta is available for those who preordered starting today. How to enter to have a chance to get one?

The private beta for The Division 2 kicked off early this morning at 1:00AM PT, this means players can dive right into the experience right now, by downloading the beta client through their Uplay account, or on their Xbox or PlayStation 4.

Another crash issue the team is aware of relates to receiving a game invite from a friend within the game. You will not be able to change it later - this is the platform for which you will receive your Private Beta key.

However, the real highlight of the game kicks off on February 8 because you can immerse yourself in The Division 2's endgame with three all-new specializations and a high-level mission.

Thankfully, you might still be able to play if you have a friend who made it in because certain players should be able to invite up to three friends to join in with the action. Below, we'll tell you when the beta starts, how you can get involved and what to expect from Tom Clancy's latest.

Now that you're formally invited to the private beta, here's how to get your friends involved.

If you pre-order the digital game online, then you will automatically have access to the beta without having to redeem a key. In fact, you can bet with total certainty, because Ubisoft recently outlined a few known issues with The Division 2 beta and, helpfully, how to avoid them. After you select your friends they will receive an invitation email from Ubisoft. The player cap is set at 30 for the beta. The Division 2 launches on March 15.

To do this, go to the Beta site link above and scroll down to "check your eligibility". Find the friend in your friends list and select the invite option to send them a private beta invite.
