Gwyneth Paltrow's ex-husband joined her on her honeymoon

The 46 year old previously opened up about the pain she felt at the end of her first marriage.

Toting a claret red suede Gucci bag, the screen beauty let her dark, long locks fall beyond her shoulders with a centre parting, while she hid her eyes behind a pair of stylish sunglasses.

Martin, who is now in a relationship with actress Dakota Johnson, joined the couple for a family break in the Maldives over Christmas, Paltrow told U.S. talk show Live With Kelly And Ryan.

"My new husband and his children, my children, my ex-husband, our best family friends". "Oh, just great conversation and lots of kids".

The Oscar-winning actress said she, Falchuk, Martin, their children, Falchuk's kids from his former marriage and some friends all took a trip to the Maldives over the Christmas holiday.

Paltrow seemed intrigued by the idea, and after thanking Ripa for the compliment she said, "Maybe".

Speaking on USA talk show Live With Kelly And Ryan, Paltrow called it "a very modern honeymoon". "It was great, we had such a good time", Paltrow said.

The Avengers: Infinity War star and American Horror Story co-producer Falchuk tied the knot in September, but they didn't embark on their honeymoon until December because they wanted to make the vacation a family affair and tie up schedules with Martin, the father of Paltrow's two children.

So for their tropical break, they were more than happy to bring along a crowd.

Gwyneth Paltrow is loving life as a married woman.

In a teaser for Friday's The Rachael Ray show, the Oscar victor reveals that she's had plenty of embarrassing "mom moments" when it comes to her 14-year-old daughter, Apple.

Earlier in the day, Paltrow revealed her favorite memory from the nuptials on "Good Morning America".
