Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi has loan terminated by Valencia, confirms general director

Valencia coach Marcelino has indicated that he has run out of patience with Chelsea loanee Michy Batshuayi following his side's defeat to Sporting Gijon on Tuesday night.

Despite scoring the goal which sealed Chelsea the 2016/17 Premier League title, the Belgian struggled to break into the first team.

Michy Batshuayi has had his loan to Valencia cut short, confirmed the La Liga club's general director Mateu Alemany.

The Belgium global joined the Spanish club on a season-long deal but has scored just three goals in 23 appearances.

"Batshuayi's situation is very clear", Alemany said on Thursday.

"We are negotiating with several clubs an exit for Batshuayi", Alemany was quoted by Metro UK as saying telling reporters.

Chelsea and Valencia have reportedly been in talks to end the loan stint for the Belgian, but on Tuesday night Marcelino indicated that he is no longer prepared to show patience with the striker.

'The player knows. For the good of the player and the club, we are looking for a solution. Marco Silva's need for a striker is well documented.

"I expect he will leave in the coming hours or days. He is leaving and it's now a matter of negotiation".
