To recall, HMD Global had launched the Nokia 7.1 in London last month in two variants with 3GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM/64GB storage (expandable up to 400GB). Now that Nokia 7.1 has finally arrived, there's excitement everywhere.

HMD Global, the licensee for Nokia in India, launched the Nokia 7.1 smartphone on Friday.

Priced at Rs. 19,999, which roughly converts to $287, the Nokia 7.1 will be available for purchase in India from 7th December.

HMD also claims that the PureDisplay of the Nokia 7.1 will offer an excellent multimedia experience to the users. The sale for Nokia 7.1 begins December 7 and it can be bought from across leading mobile stores across India and as well as Nokia mobile store online. There are interesting launch offers one must not miss while purchasing the new phone.

Nokia 7.1 buyers get three-month Netflix subscription and one-year Amazon Prime subscription on selecting Airtel postpaid plans worth Rs 499 or higher.

Telecom operator Bharti Airtel has teamed up with HMD Global and offering up to 1TB of 4G data for prepaid users starting at Rs 199.

If the Nokia 7.1's price and launch offers don't attract you, take a look at the features of the phone. It has a 5.84-inch Full HD+ notched display on the front which carries a resolution of 1080×2280 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. The phone takes cues from Nokia 6.1 Plus in terms of design and has an all-glass body design. HMD explains that the dual rear cameras of the Nokia 7.1 come with "2PD enable fast, accurate autofocus giving great shots in both bright and low light conditions". On the front, the new Nokia 7.1 comes with AI enhanced 8MP front-facing camera for selfies.

Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm's mid-range Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor, which is claimed to deliver 40 percent improved performance over its predecessor Snapdragon 630. Like other Nokia phones, Nokia 7.1 is a part of Google's Android One programme, which means the handset will soon be upgraded from Android 8.1 Oreo to Android 9.0 Pie.

Nokia 7.1 is backed by a 3,060mAh battery which can charge up to 50% in 30 minutes according to the Finnish smartphone maker.
