Fallout 76 players launch 3 nukes at once, crash server

That's what happened according to Nickaroo93's video above, the YouTuber who was a part of the Fallout 76 squad that witnessed three nukes hit the ground nearly simultaneously. After coordinating a triple nuke strike, the server stopped responding and they were booted from play. Well, the players who launched that nuke chose to triple their efforts by launching three nukes, one from each of the missile silos, all at the same time.

Fallout 76 players are testing the waters to see what would happen if they launch three nukes at once.

Nickaroo93 told The Verge that his squad now wants to try launching nukes at three different regions on the map (rather than all in the same place) to see how the server responds.

It turns out that Fallout 76 servers have as much chance of surviving a barrage of three nukes as your frail, fleshy body.

The action kicked off after Nickaroo93 and his team defeated the Scorchbeast Queen, a high-level enemy that spawns after nuking a Fissure Site. According to this Reddit thread, the new plan is to drop two nukes instead of three to attempt to get better results.

It's possible the disconnection may not have been related to three nukes detonating at once-I've had several server disconnects while playing and there weren't any bombs going off-but it seems pretty likely.
