Toyota Corolla 12th Generation Unveiling on November 16th

Toyota has released a teaser photo for the next-generation Corolla sedan, scheduled for an official unveiling later this week. As expected, the design of the four-door is similar to that of its five-door brethren; the hatchback and the wagon.

Toyota has dropped a new teaser of the all-new Corolla, set to be introduced at the 2018 Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition later this week. It is still a sedan but it has a sporty look. However, consumers won't be able to see the new version of the hugely popular sedan until the LA Auto Show later this month into early December. As expected, the exterior of the auto is nearly identical to the same sedan and wagon: the machines are the same form of head optics and grille, but the blocks are different fog lights. The only mystery with the sedan's design will be the rear, which sadly has not been teased. In India, the Corolla Altis is now offered with a 1.8-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that makes 138 BHP and 173 Nm of torque and a 1.4-litre, 4-cylinder diesel unit that puts out 87 BHP and 205 Nm of peak torque. The Corolla has been long overdue for a major redesign, so fans will probably be excited to see what Toyota has in store for them. Reports suggest that it could replace the Corolla Altis in India by 2020. In the USA, the new Corolla hatchback is sold with a 2.0-litre petrol engine making 168 hp at 6,600 rpm and 210 Nm at 4,800 rpm with six-speed manual and CVT with paddle shifters as transmission choices.

Toyota has just released a first teaser image of its next generation of the Corolla, no less than the best-selling vehicle in automotive history.
