Ariana Grande Teases Wedding-Themed ''Thank U, Next'' Performance

There's no denying that Grande has had a rough year, but she seems to be handling it all with grace. The "God Is A Woman" hitmaker, 25, performed her breakup anthem, "Thank U, Next" for the first time on the November 7 episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Safe to say, this woman is one strong and fantastic idol to many - but she keeps churning out the songs because, hey, we all deal with things differently and her creative outlet is hers to use however she wishes. She dressed in a sort of pop-star permutation of a wedding dress, and she and her two backup singers did a heavily choreographed routine that, from what I understand, was based on the 1996 movie The First Wives Club, even though Grande has never been anyone's wife.

The single is Grande processing through past relationships, including her recently-ended engagement to "SNL" star Pete Davidson, thanking them for what they taught her and preparing her for whatever's next.

She helped organise the One Love Manchester concert a year ago, raising more than $23 million for victims of the Manchester bombing.

Grande appeared to have tears in her eyes elsewhere during the performance of what may well be her most personal song to date. Ariana asked after she returned.

"I thought we were supposed to exit", She laughed.

The host reassured her that it was fine. "We're happy that you came back", Ellen said before announcing that everyone was going home with a copy of Ariana's album, Sweetener.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Grande dropped "Thank U, Next" just this past weekend. "We love you, we support you".
