This year's big release for India's Diwali festival, the seafaring song-and-dance fest with superstars Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan cost US$42 million (RM175 million), making it the most expensive movie to date in the Hindi-language industry.

While most are eager to watch the film, the sky-high ticket prices do prove to be an obstacle for the common man, who has to think thrice before emptying their pockets.

Although the film has not gone up to the mark and trade analyst Taran Adarsh has stated this film a totally disappointing. But just with its release, the movie has already beaten Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai and Aamir's Dangal. "All that glitters is NOT gold..." But will find it hard to sustain after the initial euphoria settles down. Holds true for #TOH.

Well, this is really shocking as expecting big from Aamir Khan this film is not what the audience actually expecting from him.

Thugs of Hindostan is a big action-adventure film and made on the budget of Rs 300 Cr. It will be interesting to see if the film will surpass the day one collection of Sanju to become the top day one earner of 2018.
