‘Aladdin’ Trailer Reveals the Whole New World of Disney’s Live-Action Remake

The short clip doesn't show much, but we do get our very first look at Guy Ritchie's Aladdin remake. There is a nice close-up of Mena Massoud as the titular character grabbing for the lamp, which is sure to tickle your nostalgia bone.

Walt Disney Studios released the teaser trailer for its live-action adaptation of the animated film Aladdin on Thursday night, and the film looks sure to transport viewers to a whole new world.

Will Smith can't wait for Disney's remake of "Aladdin". But of the many, many titles they have planned, the one that had always been the most contentious was Aladdin. The filmmaker later hired Numan Acar as Hakim, Navid Negahban as The Sultan, Marwan Kenzari as Jafar and Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine.

The marketing team probably didn't mean to give everyone a Last Crusade vibe with the first Aladdin poster, but it's too late now.

The Grammy-Award winning rapper and Academy-Award nominated actor shared the poster on social media with the caption, "LEMME OUT!"

The film's release date of May 2019 also is listed. We see "the diamond in the rough" Aladdin entering the cave and the cave's mouth collapses soon after.

For the animated version, the voice cast included Robin Williams, Scott Weinger, Linda Larkin, Jonathan Freeman, Gilbert Gottfried, Jim Cummings, and more.
