Disney's Live-Action Aladdin Trailer Coming Tomorrow

Will Smith has shared the first cast photo of Disney's live-action "Aladdin" with a post on his Facebook page as Guy Ritchie begins filming the movie in London. It shows his character's lamp, with a message: "Choose wisely".

With the release just over six months away, the first poster has now been revealed - sure to evoke intense feelings of nostalgia for anyone with fond memories of the 1992 version. The poster uses coloring exactly like the animated film, featuring ornate engravings on the lamp and a wisp of blue smoke hinting at the genie within.

The original Aladdin was released as an animated movie in 1992, starred Robin Williams as Genie and went on to take home two Oscars and earn $504 million at the worldwide box office. The film will star Mena Massoud in the title role, with Power Rangers' Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine.

With the first poster now out in the wild, it shouldn't be long before we get a glimpse at those Arabian nights in a trailer - and the film is set to hit United Kingdom cinemas on 24 May. "Can't wait for y'all to see Me BLUE!" .

Disney has brought on producer Dan Lin (Sherlock Holmes) and executive producer Jonathan Eirich to work with director Guy Ritchie.
