Oppo and Vivo launched a couple of smartphones each in China and India with waterdrop notch, so OnePlus will join the list with the OnePlus 6T. Brand ambassador Amitabh Bachchan in the advertisement also alludes to the in-display fingerprint sensor, calling it "a cooler way to unlock your phone". In the image, one can clearly see there is no triple rear camera setup or a pop-up camera mechanism. From the dream of some fans, that here three cameras would be used on the back, is obviously nothing, because of OnePlus sticks to a dual-camera unit, in which apparently - at least if one compares with the press images of the OnePlus 6 the same sensor configuration is used. In addition, the Mirror Black color option will be retained as well, although we don't know about any other gradients yet. The new report comes from WinFuture, a reliable source which reveals that the OnePlus 6T will feature incremental internal upgrades, a slightly larger screen, and of course, an in-display fingerprint sensor. It will be interesting to see which special edition 6T OnePlus will be launching.

Despite costing nearly half as much as some of its premium rivals the OnePlus 6 packs a glorious 6.3-inch screen, dual-lens camera and fast charging battery.

The leaked image also suggests the OnePlus 6T won't have any design alterations and will feature the same all-glass exterior found on the OnePlus 6.

One striking feature of the OnePlus 6T's first "official" image is that: the fingerprint reader is missing underneath the dual LED flash on the back. Additionally, OnePlus 6T will also boast face unlock capability, but it is not sure if it will be on par with the Apple iPhone X (review).

Tucked under the hood of the OnePlus 6 is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 processor and users can also add up to 8GB of RAM which may explain the performance.
