"Maisel" won the top prizes at the Emmy awards on Monday on a night of upsets for the highest honors in television. It's her third Emmy win in four years.

This capped off a pretty epic night for the Amazon comedy, which already saw several wins: Rachel Brosnahan and Alex Borstein took home Outstanding Lead and Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, respectively, while creator Amy Sherman-Palladino nabbed two Emmys for writing and directing.

Do you agree with this year's victor for Outstanding Comedy Series?

"The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" star was a frontrunner to win, boosted by her Golden Globe win for the role earlier in the year.

It wasn't the only win for Barry, the HBO comedy about a hitman who decides to take up acting, as Bill Hader won the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

"I wrote this (speech) 43 years ago", said the former Happy Days actor, who had been nominated six times previously.

Regina King was an unexpected limited series victor for playing the mother of a black teen killed by a white police officer in Seven Seconds.

"I don't even believe in God, but I am going to thank her tonight", Newton said.

The Emmys are back, with Game of Thrones, Westworld and The Handmaid's Tale leading the nominations ahead of the ceremony in Los Angeles today.
